The role of the Assessment and Quality Assurance Specialist is to undertake a range of tasks related to student assessment data, including collection, validation, and analysis.
About the RoleYou will work closely with the Head of Assessment to develop and implement effective systems and processes for ensuring the quality delivery of the assessment program.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake item analysis, including calculating standard set pass marks, Cronbach's alpha, and corrected total-item correlations.
- Generate reports, tables, and graphs to support discussion regarding student progression throughout the program.
- Develop and maintain effective systems and processes for ensuring the quality delivery of the assessment program.
- Foster relationships and communication with members of the assessment team and academic staff to support implementation of the assessment program.
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field or relevant postgraduate qualifications in a specialist area of medical practice.
- Experience performing longitudinal data analytics and developing objective and concise student progress reports.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with staff to implement and maintain effective systems and processes.
- Engagement in the scholarship of assessment practice to support quality improvement.
