Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated specialist to lead the provision of acute orthopaedic surgery services to patients. The successful applicant will have a special interest and training in one or more of the following sub-specialties: Foot and Ankle, Primary & Revision Hip & Knee Arthroplasty, Hand & Upper Limb, Brachial Plexus, Paediatrics, and Sports Surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care through surgical expertise and effective teamwork
  • Promote personalized, safe, and timely treatment plans
  • Contribute to teaching and research initiatives within the department
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a medical practitioner in Australia
  • Completion of specialist surgical training in Orthopaedics
  • Special interest and training in one or more of the specified sub-specialties
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
