Senior Dam Safety Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Dam Safety Specialist to support our team in ensuring the safety and reliability of our dams. This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in dam safety engineering, with experience in conducting inspections, assessments, and evaluations of existing dams and water retaining structures. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.

This role will involve working closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs. The successful candidate will be able to communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders, and will have excellent project management skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Geological, or Geotechnical engineering, and at least 8 years of experience in a related field. They will also have a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards, including FERC Part 12 Dam Safety Program requirements.
