Academic Support Manager

The Academic Director will lead academic support programs, providing one-on-one guidance and advice to students.
- Develop and implement academic support initiatives: peer learning, subject specialists, and structured study programs.
- Host the StudyFest program and associated workshops, fostering a collaborative environment for students to succeed.
- Offer personalized academic advice, helping students with study planning, assessment strategies, and university processes.
- Monitor student performance, identify areas of need, and design proactive support plans.
The Academic Director will design, deliver, and assess initiatives to enhance academic success, career readiness, and personal growth.
- Develop and evaluate programs to strengthen academic success, using evidence and feedback to refine and improve initiatives.
- Coordinate workshops on study skills, employability, leadership, volunteering, and scholarship applications, promoting student development.
The Academic Director will mentor student leaders, fostering resilience, self-efficacy, and growth, while promoting a positive college community.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver programs that promote student engagement, leadership, and personal growth.
The Academic Director will be a visible and approachable presence in college life, attending major events and supporting student activities.
- Attend and support major events, including Welcome Week, Formal Dinners, and Open Day, showcasing the college's commitment to community.
- Engage with students outside of regular office hours, building relationships and providing support when needed.
The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification, relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
