Academic Support Specialist

Job Description:
The Learning Skills Advisor role involves coordinating and delivering learning support services to students. This includes providing individual and group academic advice, contributing to the design and delivery of educational programs, and supporting the development of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise students on academic skills and strategies to enhance their learning experience;
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff and students on academic skills and literacy;
- Collaborate with faculty members to integrate academic skills into curriculum design and delivery;
- Contribute to the development of university-wide policies and procedures related to academic skills and student support;
About You:
- Demonstrated expertise in learning and teaching processes, particularly in the field of academic learning skills advising;
- Proven ability to assess and respond to the learning needs of diverse student populations;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve strategic objectives.
