**Academic Program Manager Role in Melbourne CBD**

 

**Job Description**:

We are seeking an experienced Academic Program Manager to join our team in Melbourne CBD. As a key member of our academic leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, reviewing and implementing academic programs that meet the highest standards of quality.

 

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • Ongoing collaboration with academic teams and stakeholders to plan, develop, review and implement academic programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with AFC QA standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Integration of cutting-edge technologies in delivery of academic programs.
  • Undertaking industry engagement activities as needed.
  • Development, review, validation and continuous improvement of assessments and training resources.
  • Monitoring trainers and assessors to ensure their compliance at all times.
  • Efficient management of resources.

 

**Student Management**:

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring efficient management of students' academic progression as per AFC QA standards and statutory requirements. This includes monitoring and managing student satisfaction, resolving academic and administrative issues, and fostering an inclusive, engaging and fun learning environment.

 

**Reporting**:

The role involves assisting in the development and submission of accurate and timely statutory reporting, including AVETMISS, Compliance Declarations, TPS and AQTF survey.

 

**Qualifications and Skills**:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in VET academic coordination or course coordination.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong prioritization, organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in managing teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, LMS and SMS.
