Aboriginal Community Rehab Leader

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-time, ongoing Aboriginal Community Rehabilitation Officer.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent to work closely with their community, providing culturally appropriate rehabilitation services.
About the Role:- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers, their families, and communities.
- Facilitate group programs and advocate for the rights and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals.
- Work closely with staff to ensure culturally appropriate support is provided to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers undertaking rehabilitation.
- Offer non-clinical psychosocial rehabilitation to consumers residing at the Trevor Parry Centre, supporting them to achieve their stated goals and in accordance with their rehabilitation plan.
- Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and have strong links to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
- Ability to engage with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people, health workers, and organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop supportive and collaborative relationships with Aboriginal individuals, their families, carers, supports, and communities.
