In this exciting new role, you will collaborate with the Manager SPSP to establish and implement the initiative for the region in alignment with the Grant Funding Schedule.

You will have the freedom to think creatively while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Action Plan Maintenance: Track and update action and support plans, ensuring all tasks are completed within required timeframes.
  • Event Coordination: Organise project meetings, workshops, and events, coordinating logistics, catering, and scheduling in collaboration with the administration and finance team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact.
  • Process Development: Support the SPSP Team in creating processes and tools that enhance project and event management for timely delivery.

Position Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and relevant project management tools.
  • Experience in project support/coordination roles, preferably in community or social services.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with diverse communities.
  • A relevant degree or associate diploma.
  • Ability to undertake local and/or interstate travel and work outside the normal span of hours from time to time.
  • Hold a current C Class driver's licence.
  • Hold or eligible to hold a current Working with Children Check.
