Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate Disability Employment Support Officer to join our dynamic team in Rockhampton.

About the Role

As a Disability Employment Support Officer, you will provide ongoing support to clients who have secured employment, ensuring their success in the workplace.

  • Client Support: Assist clients in completing work-related activities, such as education or work experience.
  • Work-Related Activities: Help clients develop the skills and confidence needed to maintain employment.
  • Adaptability: Be comfortable working in diverse work environments and effectively engaging with clients, colleagues, and managers.
  • Financial Management: Accurately calculate hours worked and wages earned, ensuring clients receive appropriate compensation.
  • Problem Solving: Utilize strong problem-solving and negotiation skills to address challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong rapport with clients, employers, and stakeholders to foster positive relationships.
