Supporting small business growth is at the heart of our mission. As a Commercial Lending Expert, you will work closely with clients to understand their business and personal goals, providing them with expert advice and specialist support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish strong relationships with local business customers and provide exceptional service to meet their needs.
  • Originate commercial lending solutions, including loans up to $1 million, asset finance, and merchant facilities, in addition to everyday banking services.
  • Conduct proactive customer engagement to support their business and personal goals, preparing for conversations to provide valuable insights.
  • Represent the bank as a brand ambassador within the local business community, promoting awareness of our commercial banking proposition and hosting educational events to support ongoing financial wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Experience in commercial lending or B2B sales.
  • Sound financial analysis skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement/management skills.
  • FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation and Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or willingness to obtain this within six months.
  • Formal training in home lending discussions, such as Cert IV in Banking Services qualifications.
