Job Overview

As a Provisional Psychologist in Paediatrics, you will play a leading role in providing comprehensive care to children and their families.

The Department of Health is seeking a skilled professional who can work collaboratively with the Paediatric team to provide exceptional patient outcomes.

Our organisation values quality over quantity, with a culture that fosters innovation and human connection. You will have a powerful connection to your clients and their families, and the community will support your success.

Our location offers a breath-taking coastline, National Parks, and incredible fresh produce crafted by locals.

As a Provisional Psychologist, you will be part of a small enough team for you to shape and influence your work, making a real impact every day. Yet we are big enough for you to feel part of something important, surrounded by diversity, friendships, professional support, and positive lifestyles.

Key aspects of this role include working alongside Paediatricians, Allied Health professionals, and Nurses to provide comprehensive care. The team relies on you thriving in your role and will be invested in making this a reality.

We offer a range of benefits including salary packaging, relocation assistance, and professional development opportunities. Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria, including registration as a Provisional Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and Working with Children Registration (where applicable).

Eligible candidates will have access to professional development, accelerated pathways, and a range of leave entitlements. We encourage applicants from diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, LGBTIQA+ people, and people living with disabilities.
