Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Product Developer to join our Research and Development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the development and improvement of food products, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, creativity, and attention to detail. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth in our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead R&D projects from ideation to commercialization, working closely with the function lead and R&D Manager.
  • Manage and mentor team members within the R&D team.
  • Effectively communicate with senior leadership to manage up and provide feedback on projects and key business decisions.
  • Lead and organize ideation to commercialization of meals with the culinary team and other R&D team members.
  • Manage all aspects of technical documentation, including writing briefs for new products, ensuring compliance with FSANZ standards, artwork management, and biosecurity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food product development.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA regulations.
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management across all organizational levels.
  • Extensive food manufacturing experience - experience in snack products and beverages is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
