Insurance Policy Platform Specialist

The Service Delivery Specialist (Policy) plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT applications within a portfolio, working under a Service Delivery Manager. They collaborate with both internal and external run teams using SIAM and ITIL processes to transition teams to the Momentum way of working.
This role provides expertise and guidance to operational teams and ensures service management processes meet the technical and business needs of the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Provide subject matter expertise to ensure Policy Platform Systems are operated optimally
- Design and establish operating models for RUN operations as part of the Policy Platform transformational programme
- Conduct technical impact assessments on Policy platform
- Engage business and technical stakeholders for priority incidents and manage communications
- Participate in on-call rosters for critical production issues related to Policy platform
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support for Insurance Policy Administration Systems, either on-premise or SaaS products
- Experience in establishing IT RUN Operating models for critical business functions
- Good knowledge and experience of ITSM and IT Operations
- ITIL version 3 or 4 certification is highly regarded
- Familiarity with service management processes such as Incident, Change, Problem, Config, Request, Availability, Capacity, Event, Release, and Knowledge
