We are seeking a Casual Academic to join our team and contribute to the School of Engineering and Technology.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to teach in Brisbane, Sydney, and online. Our organisation is dedicated to providing quality education to everyone, and we believe that engaged and innovative education can benefit students, industry, and communities.

Our ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in Construction Management or a related field such as building architectural design or town planning.

The successful applicant will possess industry experience in construction management, building surveying, quantity surveying, architecture, and/or expertise in building and planning legislation. Scholarly publications, scholarly reviews, leading advanced professional development activities, or remaining abreast of developments in the field are highly desirable.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with students, colleagues, and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach and assess students in the area of Construction Management;
  • To develop and implement curricula and assessments in line with the needs of the School and the University;
  • To engage in ongoing professional development to maintain currency in the field;
  • To participate in the development of the School's research agenda and collaborate with other academics on research projects;
