We're looking for an IT Server, Network & Security Specialist to join our team In this role, you'll

help ensure our server and network infrastructure is well-maintained, continuously improved,

and secured against cyber threats. You'll also work to minimise service disruptions and keep

clear, effective communication with relevant stakeholders.

**The** **position**

Ensures the organisation's IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, and always available. This involves

maintaining and upgrading server and network systems, strengthening cybersecurity measures,

reducing day-to-day service issues, and keeping clear communication with all stakeholders.

Riverina Water enjoys a favourable reputation as a satisfying and rewarding workplace,

demonstrated by a relatively low staff turnover. The Hammond Avenue site is the location of

practical and modern workplaces including the administration, workshops, works depot, store

and main filtration plant. All buildings and vehicles are smoke-free workplaces, and staff

The commencing salary for this position is $119,696.20 to $134,719.52. In addition, we

contribute 5.5% additional superannuation (17% superannuation from 1 July 2024), and

employees may salary sacrifice or make personal (non-tax deductible) contributions for

additional super.

Our working conditions include a 70 hour, 9-day fortnight, with opportunities for professiona l

development and access to long service leave after five years. Additional purchased leave

options are also available.

**Purpose of Position**
Delivers the secure availability and reliability of the organisations Information Technology (IT)

infrastructure. That server and network infrastructure is maintained, continuously improved, cyber
security is enhanced, problems with the day-to-day delivery of services are minimised and effective

communications with relevant stakeholders are maintained.

**Key Responsibilities**

Technical responsibility for corporate data and network infrastructure including data ingress and egress

points for the business.

Technical Responsibility for BAU, DR, preparedness, contingencies, testing, internal auditing, and audit

response activities related to the organisational technical infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Assist SCADA engineers and venders to manage operations technical convergence and adoption of

relevant organisation and technical management standards and practices.

Develop a technical security roadmap and create architectural solutions for enhancing security posture,

aiming to further advance Cyber Security certifications. Manage, and maintain advanced cyber security
practices.

Create and uphold precise technical designs, specifications, procedures, and documentation.

Facilitate the support and continuous improvement of infrastructure components such as servers, storage
devices, network components and centrally managed end user computing devices. Ens
