Service Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to join our team at uWorkin. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service department.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Workload Management: Effectively schedule and assign tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
- Repair Order Management: Oversee the processing of repair orders, ensuring timely completion, accuracy, and profitability.
- Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts submissions, ensuring compliance with manufacturer requirements and deadlines.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and lead team members to maintain a safe, positive, and professional work environment.
- Time Management and Rostering: Manage technician start/finish times and on-call rosters to ensure seamless operations.
- Departmental Goals and Budget: Achieve service department goals and budget in alignment with organizational financial and operational objectives.
- Equipment and Tool Maintenance: Ensure all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
- Process Development and Implementation: Develop, communicate, enforce, and monitor effective processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostic Skills: Possess outstanding troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve complex issues.
- Technical Skills: Be able to use and safely operate hand and power tools.
- Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with a team in a professional manner.
- Time Management and Organization: Possess effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Leadership and Performance Management: Have experience in managing staff and possess performance management skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Have some understanding of the outdoor lifestyle industry.
- Initiative and Adaptability: Demonstrate high levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Safety and Accountability: Commit to safety and have the ability to work unsupervised.
- Problem-Solving and Resolution: Be able to own and resolve issues that may arise.
- Additional Skills: Experience in towing is an advantage.
