The Business Development Manager role is a key position within our organization, responsible for driving Collaboration Transformation opportunities across various segments. This involves selling solutions from our entire Collaboration Transformation portfolio, positioning our product and channel value proposition, and developing strategies to help partners find and implement the best solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development or sales, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the UC/AV industry (software and hardware). They should be proficient in selling Collaboration Transformation solutions, understand AV technology and collaboration tools ecosystem, and possess project management skills.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Build partnerships with existing, current, and new Smart Office Expert partners by coordinating sales, opportunity management, marketing, and pre- and post-sales technical support to maximize revenue and margin for Lenovo Workplace Transformation products.
- Support the initial phase of the sales process for Relationship account managers, especially for Global Account customers.
- Develop and execute operational plans for Collaboration Transformation products and options.
- Analyze metrics and business performance to produce weekly reports with actions and recommendations for the Collaboration Transformation business.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks/issues through effective contingency plans.
Requirements include negotiation and communication skills, experience with Fortune 500 accounts, strong relationship-building skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills, superior presentation skills, and territory management skills.
