Business Development Manager Position

The role of the Business Development Manager sits in a business group responsible for revenue growth and market expansion.

This position requires a strong understanding of product offerings, customer solutions, and strategic planning.

The Business Development Manager must articulate the competitive landscape, develop strategies, and leverage research, insights, and customer feedback to drive business planning.

Leverage customer needs, competitive knowledge, and product expertise to drive marketing and sales activities.

The Business Development Manager understands and influences customer campaigns, business activities, and delivers product and campaign feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy Planning and Execution

  • Develop local business management strategy and partner with teams to interpret market opportunity/risk.
  • Adjust value proposition and create compelling business plans integrating with regional activities.

Product Promotion

  • Maintain product knowledge and promote internally and externally.
  • Drive seller usage of business programs and tools.
  • Drive product adoption through deep product knowledge, demos, and storytelling.

Business Management Manage Business Performance

  • Own and drive KPIs and scorecard metrics related to business performance and corrective action plans.
  • Develop local business management strategy partnering with teams to interpret market opportunity/risk.

Orchestrate Partner Ecosystem Enablement

  • Grow the ecosystem and drive adoption with third-party solutions.
  • Drive awareness of partner value and partner programs with field sellers and account managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or Computer Science.
  • 10+ years related experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and representing the company's converged communications portfolio.
