The Queensland Fire and Emergency Services department is seeking a highly skilled Property and Leasing Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the Property Management team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in the establishment of new and the renewal of existing property leasing arrangements.
You will work closely with the Senior Leasing Officer to coordinate and manage the portfolio's agreements, ensuring that property leasing arrangements adhere to relevant legislation and whole-of-government policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial property management and leasing administration, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work effectively in a professional environment, fostering teamwork and encouraging staff commitment and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administration support in the establishment of new and the renewal of existing property leasing arrangements.
- Coordinate and manage the portfolio's agreements, ensuring that property leasing arrangements adhere to relevant legislation and whole-of-government policies and procedures.
- Assist with the administration of the property management and leasing portfolio, including coordinating applications, approvals, and critical renewal activities.
- Monitor and manage the review of existing properties, and leased property maintenance requests, including site visits.
- Use Microsoft products and other procurement, financial, administration, and contract management systems to maintain accurate customer and property records.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in commercial property management and leasing administration.
- Knowledge and skills in the use of databases, including SAP training and/or experience using financial and procurement systems, Excel, and Word processing.
- Minimum C Class Driver's Licence (non-restricted).
