Healthscope Staffing Administration Officer Role

The Staffing Administration Officer is a critical role within Healthscope's Northern Beaches Hospital, responsible for managing a skilled nursing and midwifery relief workforce. This position involves recruiting, credentialing, and allocating agency and casual staff to meet the hospital's operational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective staffing strategies to ensure optimal use of resources.
- Recruit and manage a highly skilled nursing and midwifery relief workforce, ensuring their training and performance development needs are met.
- Provide administrative support to clinical units, working closely with Nursing/Midwifery Unit Managers to achieve operational goals.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Experience as a Registered Nurse or prior administrative experience within a hospital setting.
- Strong rostering skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to complete multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
- Ability to critically analyse information and prepare clear, concise reports.
- Proficiency in computer software, data entry, and keyboard skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
