The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping our technology roadmap, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless integration across legacy and contemporary systems.

  • Develop and deliver an enterprise applications strategy aligned to business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of applications, including digital experience platforms, mobile apps, portals, correspondence, workflow, HR, Finance, Risk, and integration systems.
  • Modernize legacy systems to optimize performance, security, and user experience.
  • Manage vendor partnerships to ensure scalability, reliability, and resilience of our platforms.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality results.
  • Bridge IT, business units, and external partners to drive alignment and transparency.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in technology or business management.
  • 10+ years' experience in application development or support, with at least 5 years in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proven strategic and people leadership in digital transformation and enterprise application management.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale technology programs that drive measurable business value.
  • Strong knowledge of technology and project management frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of insurance operations, customer journeys, and the regulatory landscape.
  • Advanced expertise in cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, enterprise architecture, UX/UI, data analytics, and automation technologies.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication skills.
