Urban Planning Opportunity

Urbis is a leading firm in the field of urban planning, committed to fostering a collaborative work environment that supports flexibility and diversity. We are seeking a Junior Landscape Architect who is passionate about creating meaningful, sustainable cities and communities.

The role involves participating in creative landscape and public realm design, delivering input into multiple projects from concept stage through to design development, production, and documentation. You will work across a wide range of project types, collaborating with architects and engineers on built form projects.

To succeed in this role, you will need to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines, manage project involvement under the guidance of senior staff, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture at a graduate or post-graduate level
  • Minimum 1 – 5 years relevant experience, ideally gained in a private practice or with local council or government
  • Competent and efficient using industry standard software including Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
  • Experience using SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion and other 3D modelling software will also be favourable for this role
  • Engages in cross-team communication and solution development to help inform outcomes and project delivery
