  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare strategic land use initiatives, including suburban renewal precincts and more homes sooner
  • Develop new planning policies and built form/urban design controls
  • Consult with stakeholders and communities to shape planning outcomes
  • Work collaboratively across Council using 'One Council' approach
  • Ensure compliance with relevant planning legislation and policy frameworks

Role Requirements:

  • Urban planning qualifications and experience relevant to role level (Band 5 to Band 7)
  • Experience in strategic planning, policy writing, or statutory drafting (Senior/Principal roles)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
