Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment, including all related machinery and equipment.
  • Promote quality service by adhering to organizational standards.
  • Manage inventory control of goods and physical handling of materials through the warehouse.
  • Ensure accurate loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • Verify, store, pack, and unpack inventory and non-inventory goods and materials, notifying relevant parties.
  • Coordinate the movement of goods within the warehouse and throughout the building as required.
  • Accurately maintain inventory records and perform ongoing reconciliation to ensure accuracy in inventory amounts and locations.
  • Utilize ERP and Logistics systems for efficient receipting and shipping management.
  • Prepare and complete packing and related documentation for delivery or pickup.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to optimize process flow and document flow relating to inventory and non-inventory transactions.
  • Understand transport company requirements and related shipping and handling legislations.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar warehousing role with shipping and receiving knowledge and responsibilities.
  • Current forklift license or other required tickets.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Knowledge of import and export regulations.
  • Experience using ERP and logistics systems such as SAP.
  • Basic computer skills.
