About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Lead Clinician to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of bespoke assessment and intervention plans for adults with learning difficulties, disabilities, autism, and mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating multi-disciplinary team working, consisting of Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy, to maximize clinical outcomes for adults. You will work within the framework of our service policies and procedures, ensuring quality assurance and supporting the services in future development.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our service users, and all successful applicants will be subject to social media checks and a fully enhanced DBS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement assessment and intervention plans for adults with learning difficulties, disabilities, autism, and mental health difficulties.
  • Facilitate multi-disciplinary team working to maximize clinical outcomes for adults.
  • Work within the framework of our service policies and procedures to ensure quality assurance and support future development.
  • Contribute to the development of empowering environments where adults can flourish.
  • Collaborate with a range of key partners to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic).
  • Registered with the HCPC and BPS.
  • Experience in supervising Assistant Psychologists.
  • Previous experience working with adults or children with intellectual disabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners.
  • Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting.
  • Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults and children.
  • Experience of lecturing/teaching/training.
  • Skills in the management of data are also important as the role includes collecting and analysing data to inform various pieces of service delivery, development and project work.
