Profit Protection Lead Role

We seek a skilled and experienced professional to oversee the implementation of initiatives that drive value protection across various sectors.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and executing strategies aimed at safeguarding profitability and operational efficiency.
  • This role involves translating data-driven insights into practical solutions that reduce loss, enhance processes, and embed sustainable controls.
  • Collaboration with key partners is essential to ensure initiatives are effectively adopted, supported by in-depth expertise, and deliver measurable, long-term outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for profit enhancement based on internal insights combined with industry trends.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of profit protection and risk mitigation projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and scope requirements.
  • Analyze financial, operational, and performance data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Profit Protection team and other stakeholders to design and implement solutions that are practical, effective, and sustainable.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and reporting to track ROI and benefits realization.
  • Support training and adoption to ensure initiatives are integrated into regular operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure projects deliver tangible outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in profit protection, loss prevention, or operational risk management.
  • Experience in project coordination or management within retail or a related sector.
  • Solid project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A strong analytical mindset, with a proven track record of using data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, spanning store and support office levels.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, focused on achieving results.
