Key Rolling Stock Procurement Specialist

The Department of Transport and Planning seeks a highly skilled Lead Procurement Specialist to lead the development and implementation of procurement methodologies and commercial frameworks for high-value, complex rolling stock procurements.
Reporting to the Executive Director for Finance and Commercial, the successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers and franchisees, providing authoritative advice across projects, and ensuring project outcomes achieve safety, operational, and commercial objectives.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and commercial frameworks for rolling stock procurements
- Negotiate complex commercial issues with suppliers and franchisees
- Provide authoritative guidance and support to commercial team members to ensure consistent advice
- Ensure project outcomes meet key performance indicators related to RSD safety, operational, and commercial objectives
