Rolling Stock Procurement Specialist

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Contract and Commercial Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial, contractual, and financial management of major rolling stock projects.
Your primary objective will be to develop and implement procurement methodologies and commercial frameworks for high-value procurements. You will also lead complex negotiations with suppliers and franchisees to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Delivery of complex rolling stock projects within agreed scope, time, quality, and budget, ensuring project outcomes meet operational and commercial objectives.
- Provide authoritative advice on commercial and procurement matters across projects, supporting consistent advice from the commercial team.
- Negotiate and liaise with stakeholders on project-wide commercial issues.
- Support the Executive Director on commercial matters, including claims, disputes, and briefings to senior officials.
- Represent the organization in multidisciplinary working groups, steering committees, and governance forums, providing commercial and financial expertise.
