Job Role: Service Technician

About the Job:

This is a highly skilled role that requires technical expertise and excellent customer service skills. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that dental equipment is installed, calibrated, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards.

You will work closely with customers across NSW to provide high-quality technical support and customer service. This role involves traveling to different locations to perform on-site installations and repairs, as well as working in our workshop to maintain and calibrate equipment.

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, including electrical, electronics, and electromechanics knowledge. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Installation and Repair:
  • Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair dental equipment on-site and in-house.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide high-quality customer service and technical support to internal teams and external clients.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with sales teams to promote service offerings such as preventive maintenance.
  • Service Reporting and Administration:
  • Accurately manage service reporting, inventory, and invoicing via our CRM and PDA system.
Requirements:
  • Certificate or qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanics, or Appliance Repair.
  • Electrical Licence (Full or Restricted) – advantageous but not essential.
  • Radiation Safety Licence – advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a field service, appliance repair, or technical support role.
  • Solid troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding role.
