Lead Restaurant Professional

AccorHotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our service team at Novotel Melbourne South Wharf. This role offers the opportunity to elevate guest dining experiences across our Award-Winning Restaurant, Bar/Café, and Room Service operations.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service aligned with business demand. Key responsibilities include setting, implementing, and maintaining high service standards, driving quality and consistency in the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery, optimise workplace efficiency through roster management and inventory control.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop your team through targeted training, performance evaluations, and mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Cost Management: Identify revenue opportunities, manage costs effectively, and optimise workplace efficiency.
  • Guest Engagement: Foster a high level of guest engagement and satisfaction by recruiting team members who align with our standards and values.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review guest feedback regularly to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing a successful team in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Outgoing personality with a positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to think creatively.
  • Qualifications: Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate & valid right to work in Australia.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
