Maternity Care Professional

The maternity care professional will deliver high-quality pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care to women and families. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe and effective delivery of midwifery services.

This includes providing evidence-based antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal midwifery care, conducting foetal surveillance, and responding to obstetric emergencies as required.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration with a relevant authority as a registered midwife.
  • Competency in advanced neonatal resuscitation, foetal surveillance education, and midwifery practice.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
