Overview

Are you a Chinese Medicine Practitioner looking for a new clinic home where you are surrounded by friendly, like-minded colleagues? Do you have expertise, interest and experience in IVF, fertility and pregnancy?

An opportunity has become available to join an integrative Chinese Medicine Clinic in Westmead, Sydney that offers evidence- and research-based IVF, fertility and pregnancy acupuncture treatments.

"The Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic team are a collegiate group that collaborate and share resources, ideas, in-house herbal formulations, education opportunities, and our clinical experience. We have a strong community of exceptional and experienced like-minded TCM practitioners across our clinic sites. We regularly get together (online mostly ATM) to engage in peer learning, educational meetings to exchange our clinical experiences."

Responsibilities
  • Provide IVF, fertility and pregnancy acupuncture treatments based on evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with a team of TCM practitioners, participate in peer learning and education opportunities, and contribute to in-house herbal formulations.
  • Engage in integrative medical practice by working with medical and other allied health practitioners.
  • Maintain a commitment to ongoing learning and contribute to TCM research related to IVF, fertility and pregnancy.
  • Be part of a caring and knowledgeable team and participate in team-based peer learning.
Qualifications
  • Good understanding of TCM approaches related to IVF, fertility and pregnancy.
  • Empathic with well-established inter-professional and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in TCM research and a desire to keep learning.
  • Completed coursework and/or familiarity with the book "The Treatment of Infertility with Chinese Medicine" by Jane Lyttleton.
Position details
  • Pay is based on an hourly rate plus 12% super payments.
  • Position is part time.
