Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full-Time Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our team. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electronic installation, maintenance and repair tasks, contributing to the successful operation of our electrical services business.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair a range of electronic equipment, including systems related to electrical infrastructure, lighting, communication systems, and automation technologies in residential, strata, and commercial properties;
  • Diagnose faults in electronic systems, components, and equipment, ensuring efficient and accurate repairs to minimize downtime for clients;
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electronic faults to identify and resolve issues promptly;
  • Reading and interpreting electronic diagrams, plans and specifications;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients;
  • Completing inspections and testing to ensure compliance with safety standards;
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations;
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including detailed reports on repairs, installations, and service activities. Complete all required documentation in a timely manner for compliance and client reference;
  • Assisting with the training and mentoring of junior electricians or apprentices as required;
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and innovations in electronic equipment to ensure you are providing the best service possible to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Related qualification;
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of electronic systems, components and installation methods;
  • Proficient in the use of electronic testing equipment and tools;
  • Extensive experience (minimum 2-5 years) working as Electronic Equipment Trades Worker in the residential, commercial or industrial sectors;
  • Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities;
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team;
  • Reliability, flexibility and a commitment to workplace safety.
