The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Electronic Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
Job DescriptionAs an Electronic Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and resolution to electronic problems encountered during construction projects. You will also develop, adjust, and test different electronic equipment and machines used for business purposes.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve electronic issues before, during, and after construction projects.
- Equipment Development: Develop, adjust, and test electronic equipment and machines used for business purposes.
- Circuit Analysis: Read codes, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions to assemble electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components.
- Component Replacement: Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components using suitable tools.
- System Installation: Install and maintain electronic control systems and solid-state equipment and machines.
- Equipment Inspection: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers' representatives as necessary to obtain replacement parts.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Inspect machinery, conducting tests, and collecting data to determine maintenance schedules.
- Diploma or Degree: Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree in a relevant area, or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in IT skills, including computer software and hardware.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Communication: Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Australian Standards: Working knowledge of Australian codes and local standards.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
