Talent Focus is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Equipment Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our compressed air and nitrogen plants.

About the Role:

  • We are offering a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • As an Industrial Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out routine and breakdown servicing of gas generation and air filtration systems.
  • You will also be involved in installing new and refurbished plant, ensuring that all installation, commissioning, and testing activities comply with internal and third-party specifications.
  • In addition, you will assist with identifying capital equipment sales opportunities and quoting customers in a timely manner.
  • You will work closely with the sales team to follow internal sales processing procedures for costing and quoting all capital equipment.
  • Other responsibilities include attending to warehouse duties as requested by the manager, working reasonable overtime, including Saturdays when requested, and carrying out country work when required.

Requirements:

  • A high level of integrity with strong interpersonal, relationship management, and rapport-building skills.
  • At least 3 years of solid field service experience in a technical environment (ideally Air Compressor industry).
  • Ability to work well under pressure with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Customer-centric in nature, with an innovative, forward-thinking, and positive mindset.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in approach with good problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions for customers.
  • Ability to answer internal and external queries in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with other departments as required to perform the role efficiently.
