Operations Officer Lending Fulfilment Role

The role of an Operations Officer in the lending fulfillment team involves being part of a dedicated unit responsible for managing the end-to-end home loan settlement process. This encompasses document preparation, execution, settlement, same-day funding or loan closure, home loan variations, and construction lending.

The team ensures a seamless transition to settlement for customers, adhering to established processes, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the team in cultivating a culture of exceptional service, teamwork, commitment to excellence, and professional ethics that drive achievement of team and organizational objectives.
  • Accurately review documents and ensure they are completed correctly in preparation for settlement, aligning with customer needs, legal requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Process settlement workspaces, fund mortgages, and finalize collateral creation or discharge.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Financial Services, preferably with exposure to operations, ideally with a comprehensive understanding of the settlement process.
  • Familiarity with property settlement processes within Australian lending standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant finance industry standards, acts, codes, and legislation.
  • An organized approach, ability to work efficiently at a fast pace individually, and within a team to manage workflow.
  • Commercial acumen, technical aptitude, and high attention to detail.
