Job Title: Senior Project HSE Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced project health, safety, and environment (HSE) specialist to provide technical support to the safe and sustainable delivery of our projects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with numerous projects in a fast-paced environment, creating HSE documentation, facilitating risk assessment workshops, completing audits, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, develop reports, and negotiate effectively in line with business processes and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance over multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Facilitate risk assessments with project teams
  • Complete audits and create reports for key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for improvement to ensure best practice and effective work processes
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Negotiate effectively with parties in line with business processes and requirements

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as an HSE professional in energy, construction, or other relevant industries
  • Audit experience
  • A technical background, including knowledge of OHS, Environment, and duties through applicable legislation, acts, regulations, codes, and standards
  • Experience with HSE reporting and analytics software
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Minimum Cert IV Level in Health and Safety and/or Environmental or similar
