Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and support to customers across the mining industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team

This role involves traveling to various mine sites across the Hunter Valley, utilizing your product knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot Caterpillar equipment. You will work independently from a tool-of-trade vehicle, performing repairs, maintenance, and inspections on customer mining shovels and excavators.

We are looking for someone with several years of post-trade experience in a similar role, who is proficient in diagnosing and repairing complex issues. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to safe work practices.

The successful candidate will also have:

  • Cert III Mobile Plant Qualification (including Certificate of Proficiency) preferred;
  • Extensive experience on hydraulic mining shovels or hydraulic mining excavators;
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service excellence;
  • Excellent attitude towards work, with a dedication to safe work practices.

About this role:

  • Work independently from a tool-of-trade vehicle as you perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on customer mining shovels and excavators;
  • Utilize your product knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot Caterpillar equipment on an array of mine sites across the Hunter Valley;
