Position Overview

The Registered Midwife will play a crucial role within the Maternity Unit, contributing to the high standards of care provided to our patients. This role is ideal for a qualified midwife with a strong background in both surgical and acute medical nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient-centered care across various maternity unit streams, including Antenatal, Postnatal, Birth Suite, Women's Surgical Unit, and Special Care Nursery.
  • Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to address patient needs effectively.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve operational goals and maintain quality standards.
  • Exercise sound judgment in ethical, clinical, and management matters.
  • Maintain AHPRA Registration and ensure compliance with professional standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in midwifery and nursing, demonstrating clinical competence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Must possess Australian Working Rights.
