About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Albury Wodonga Health as a Clinical Support Nurse in our Neonatal/Newborn Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical support and supervision to nursing and midwifery staff in the special care nursery and maternity ward.
- Develop and implement evidence-based best practices to ensure the delivery of safe and quality healthcare to newborns.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of education programs for nursing and midwifery staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in the special care nursery setting.
- Sound clinical skills in the application of care to newborns in the maternity ward setting.
- Ability to provide clinical support and education to nursing and midwifery staff.
- Qualifications and experience in education in the clinical setting are highly desirable.
