About the role
The Clinical Support Nurse/Midwife Neonatal and Newborn Services will be a valued member of the Maternity Services to undertake evidence-based best practice to provide direct clinical support, supervision, instruction and mentoring to students, graduates and staff to ensure the delivery of safe, quality healthcare to newborns in the special care nursery and maternity ward.
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
This opportunity requires the successful applicant to have relevant qualifications and experience in the special care nursery setting as well as sound clinical skills in the application of care to newborns in the maternity ward setting and in provision of clinical support and or education to nurses and midwives. Qualifications and or experience in education in the clinical setting is highly desirable.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for carrying out and attending to the responsibilities and duties outlined in the position description for the Clinical Support Nurse.
Employment Type: This is a part time 0.4 FTE opportunity.
