Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting leaders and staff across the Northern Sydney Local Health District.

You will provide expert advice on workforce strategy, industrial relations, performance management, and organisational change. Your work will help shape a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with public sector legislation and HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with managers to build workforce capability aligned with business goals.
  • Guide leaders through performance, talent, and change management processes.
  • Advise on complex workforce matters including grievances, disputes, and industrial issues.
  • Help ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and organisational policies.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in Workforce/Human Resources management.
  • Previous experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions including change management, industrial consultation, grievance and disciplinary management, job evaluation, recruitment and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the public sector, relevant employment and Industrial Relations, EEO, Child Protection, WHS Legislation and relevant State Awards.
