Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide generalist HR advice and services to facilitate an equitable, efficient and effective workforce.

Your primary responsibilities will include delivering HR services including employment relations, workforce planning, change management, policies and systems; managing workplace behaviour and diversity; providing guidance on staffing and Award-related matters.

You will also develop and maintain stakeholder and customer relationships; contribute to the development and implementation of Human Resources policies, strategies and operations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in human resources management or business, or equivalent experience in generalist HR advice and consultancy services.
  • Sound knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements relating to HR management and industrial/employee relations; ability to provide practical advice and conduct low-level workplace investigations in line with legislation and policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify significant HR issues and communicate their business implications to senior management.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including effective dispute management and alternative dispute resolution; ability to consult effectively with management, staff, industrial organisations, other industry bodies and external agencies.
