Senior Ecommerce Strategist

This role oversees the development and implementation of our ecommerce strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ecommerce trends, technical capabilities, and commercial acumen to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy that meets business goals and customer expectations.
  2. Lead the execution of online trade plans through campaign management and on-site messaging, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance personalisation and user experience.
  3. Establish clear key results and roadmaps that align with strategy objectives, including metrics for customer and ecommerce driver performance.
  4. Make informed decisions that drive brand strategy, customer loyalty, and tribal mission, leveraging customer research and market insights.
  5. Stay up-to-date with external, market, and industry trends, anticipating their impact on the business and identifying opportunities for growth.
  6. Analyse and report on team performance, measuring success and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in digital or retail businesses, primarily in ecommerce roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ecommerce leadership, managing ecom managers, platforms, production, and campaign execution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to deliver measurable results.
  • A passion for customers and creating exceptional shopping experiences across web and app.
  • Familiarity with agile organisations or cross-functional agile teams.

  • Leadership and supervision of ecom managers and platforms.
  • Mentoring and developing ecom managers.
  • Presentation and implementation of business cases and plans for new markets, website features, and ideas.
