We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Advisor to strengthen our financial crime compliance framework through risk assessments, policy support and cross-functional collaboration. The role will involve working with various teams to identify and mitigate financial crime risks, ensuring our compliance practices remain robust and forward-thinking.
Responsibilities- Lead and maintain financial crime risk assessments
- Support the development and refinement of compliance policies
- Monitor adherence to financial crime procedures and report findings
- Contribute to training and awareness initiatives
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance outcomes
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial crime obligations, including AML/CTF legislation and AUSTRAC guidance. Experience in financial services and banking is also essential for assessing risk across diverse products and third-party relationships. The ability to navigate regulatory change and build trusted relationships with stakeholders and regulators is crucial.
