Overview

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Advisor to join our Central Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team. This role strengthens our financial crime compliance framework through risk assessments, policy support, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work with the FCC Policy and Framework team, Assurance team, and internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate financial crime risks, ensuring our compliance practices remain robust and forward-thinking. The role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain financial crime risk assessments
  • Support the development and refinement of compliance policies
  • Monitor adherence to financial crime procedures and report findings
  • Contribute to training and awareness initiatives
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance outcomes
About You

You bring a strong understanding of financial crime obligations, including AML/CTF legislation and AUSTRAC guidance. Experience in financial services and banking equips you to assess risk across diverse products and third-party relationships. You should be confident conducting AML/CTF risk assessments, navigating regulatory change, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders and regulators alike. Analytical by nature, you identify issues quickly and offer practical, business-focused solutions. You are collaborative, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where your insights make an impact. You also uphold BOQ Group's values of integrity, courage, and care.
