Safe and Efficient Mining Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Production Supervisor to lead one of our Block Cave mining crews. This pivotal role involves delivering safe, timely, and high-quality ore production to the mill.
In this leadership position, you will be responsible for guiding your crew, driving safety performance, and ensuring operational targets are met. Your ability to maintain high standards and foster a strong team culture will be key to your success.
- Leading and mentoring your crew to deliver safe and efficient ore production
- Keeping the schedule tight and the quality spot-on (grade, size, moisture)
- Driving safety conversations and improving risk assessments
- Working closely with other teams to get the job done
- Supporting team development and recognising great work

About the JobThis is a leadership role that requires a strong foundation in underground mining and proven leadership in production environments. You will be part of a site that's known for its innovation and teamwork, with a long mine life and a vision of a century of mining together.
- Demonstrated experience in block cave mining and or a sub-level cave production environment.
- Strong understanding of underground production environments including automated/remote loaders, crushers and conveyors.
- A current Underground NSW Mine Supervisor Practising Certificate
- Minimum 1 year in a Production Supervisor role
- At least 5 years of underground mining experience
- First Aid, Working at Heights, security clearance and a current Driver's Licence
