Job Overview

The role of a Supply Chain Support Specialist revolves around delivering efficient supply chain support to various ISS programmes, meeting client demands under contract requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining inventory management systems, including initiating cataloguing of new inventory items in the IMS platform.
  • Evaluating sourcing needs by collaborating with stakeholders based on provided estimates, market expertise, purchase complexity, sole-source consideration, and purchase thresholds.
  • Establishing strong relationships with key suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to manage lead times and maintain control over local, domestic, and international supply portfolios.
  • Contributing to supply support reporting requirements.
  • Resolving issues with goods/services through supplier corrective action processes and regularly contributing to the Supplier Risk Report.
  • Participating in the development and continuous improvement of supply support business processes and procedures.
  • Complex part interpretation and analysis.
  • Issuing RFQs and procurement activities to source materials for maintenance periods.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in supply support or logistics.
  • A formal qualification in a trade or logistics management is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of asset management standards, systems, and processes.
  • Understanding of supply support management, planning, and scheduling.
  • Experience with supply chain management and part interpretation.
  • AGSVA baseline security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
