Operational Leadership Role

Lagardere AWPL seeks a seasoned Operations Manager to drive excellence in its travel retail operations across Australia and New Zealand.

The Opportunity:

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring consistency in brand, service, and quality standards.

You will be responsible for coaching and developing venue managers and their teams to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences. This includes managing multiple venues, analyzing sales data, and implementing cost management strategies to drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations across all sites.
  • Partner with the Food Service team to implement operational changes and support new activations.
  • Provide on-the-ground operational support and leadership through regular site visits.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations management within the hospitality or retail sector.
  • Strong people leadership skills, able to motivate and develop diverse teams.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in cost control and sales growth.
