Strategic Transaction Specialist

Ey's strategy and transactions division offers expert transaction advice and services to clients worldwide. The team provides guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle, from strategic analysis to deal execution and integration.

The Opportunity

Our dedicated team within Ey's strategy and transactions division helps clients achieve their strategic goals in acquisitions and divestments. We cover a wide range of operational aspects in a transaction, including synergy assessments, separation readiness, operational due diligence, and supporting the integration or separation process.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Analysing and evaluating operating models and financial information
  • Identifying key client risks, issues, and mitigating these ahead of time
  • Developing and presenting key deliverables to clients
  • Supporting business development activities
  • Collaborating widely with the broader Strategy and Transactions division and other teams within EY
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • 1-4 years of experience
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, curiosity, and creative thinking
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in delivering high-quality reports and presentations
  • Adept at building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Motivated and committed, with high EQ and low ego
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Transaction or organisational transformation experience is a plus
